Our classes are specially designed to meet the unique needs of various age groups both physically and mentally. Classes focus on the art of Muay Thai as well as physical fitness, self-discipline, self-defense and personal growth.
All classes at Haystack are tailored to meet the needs of beginning, intermediate, and advanced fitness levels. Our programs are designed for everyone to feel challenged and grow at their own pace with lots of encouragement and support from both instructors and fellow students.
Ninjas (ages 4-7)
Designed for kids ages 4 to 7. This class helps build self-esteem, self- discipline, self-control and age-appropriate self-defense. This is a high energy class with an emphasis on building focus, and core strength while developing
coordination skills. This is a life-skills martial arts class that teams up with parents to help develop reading skills, create good habits and encourage contributing to family tasks at home.
Juniors – Muay Thai (ages 8-13)
This Muay Thai class is designed for kids ages 8 to 13. The class has a focus on developing leadership skills, self-confidence, self-discipline and age-appropriate self-defense. This is a life skills martial arts class that teams up with parents to emphasize respect, listening skills,
contributing to families, and self -improvement. This is also a great class for physical fitness, core strengthening, and improving overall coordination skills while introducing children to the art of Muay Thai.
Adult – Muay Thai (ages 14 and up)
This is a Muay Thai-based program for teens and adults. Muay Thai is a Martial Art from Thailand known as “the art of eight limbs”. Muay Thai is one of the best Martial Arts for improving physical fitness and is wonderful for self-defense. Students begin at an introductory level to develop basic footwork, self-defense and improve physical fitness as they learn level appropriate Katas and Thai
Pad combinations. As students develop a solid foundation, they are promoted to intermediate and advanced levels. This is a very family-oriented, supportive atmosphere where everyone is welcome and encouraged to strive for the best within them. Students find themselves highly motivated to reach their goal of Black Belt and beyond.
Kickboxing is a fun high energy fitness class that combines martial arts techniques with high-energy cardio exercise to burn calories, build muscle and strengthen your overall body and mind.
Benefits include improved flexibility and coordination and increased stamina. Whether you’re just a beginner or a trained athlete, our kickboxing classes offer a challenging and fun workout.
